Located at beautiful Crystal Mountain. This home is on the tenth fairway of the Betsie Valley Golf Course. The base of the closet ski lift (Buck) is a 500-yard walk.  

Crystal Mountain is an outstanding destination resort, plus there are great local Northern Michigan attractions nearby.  Nearby are fabulous beaches at Frankfort and Elberta, plus Sleeping Bear Dunes right up the road, and canoeing/kayak/raft on the nearby Betsie or Platte rivers.   Scenic M22, Empire, Glen Arbor, Wine country, Leelanau, Traverse City are all 30-45 minutes away.

Golf: Crystal Mountain has 2 outstanding 18 hole courses - the Betsie Valley and Mountain Ridge courses.  The Laughing Moose Lodge is located at the 150-yard marker of the par 5 tenth hole of the Betsie Valley course, so you can sit on the deck, screened porch, or yard and watch the approach shots. Award-winning Arcadia Bluffs is about 20 minutes away (17 miles).

Ski: Crystal Mountain has been rated the best family resort in the Midwest by Ski Magazine.  It is very family-friendly, yet has lots of snowboard terrain parks and a good mix of difficulty of skiing terrain.

  If you want to stay on the Crystal Mountain property and enjoy a nice night out, Thistle Pub & Grille has you covered. They have a Scottish theme and sit-down service. We’ve found reservation availability can be hit-and-miss. Call or stop by to try to work out arrangements for your larger group as the restaurant is definitely popular during high season.
• Betsie River Pizza & Subs (in The Lodge)
  If you need a quick carryout order for your group, call the Betsie River Pizza & Sub shop to grab your pizza, wings, and breadsticks to go. Great for younger guests!
• The Roadhouse Mexican Bar & Grill (Benzonia)
  Located up the road in Benzonia, The Roadhouse has great Mexican food. Some of the best we’ve had in Michigan. Go early to get a seat or carryout during COVID times. This is 10 miles and 14 minutes away.
• Bru Bar (Inn at the Mountain Lobby)
  Need your coffee fix or looking to grab an apres-ski drink? Stop by the Bru Bar for cocktails or cappuccinos
• Rosie’s Country Cafe (on Cadillac Highway, Thompsonville)
  Located just three miles and six minutes from the lodge, Rosie’s is a greasy spoon diner with 5-star reviews.
